Ce fut vers 1586, que Sixte V la plaça dans l'endroit où elle est encore, qu'il accrut le nombre des volumes, & éta blit des fonds pour son entretien; &, pour l'augmenter encore, il y attacha des Bibliothécaires. Paul V en agrandit l'emplacement, & y ajouta les Archives. (French)
