All the Manuscripts of this Kind are dated not by the Year of Chris, but the Era of the Indiction, which was a Practice pretty universal till about the XIth Century. I am not to forget an antient Missal they shew'd me, with a Service Contra Gallos, as it seems, a great deal older than the Wars of Charles VIII. (English) | |||
