The manuscripts are said to amount to 14 or 15,000, but few have en quiring eyes to examine them. There is, I believe, no printed catalogue of them. Few books are written here, and few even translated. The Abate Bianconi, with some assistants, is now preparing a Biographical and Historical Account of Engravers, and of the Art of Engraving, [...] will [...] be well executed. (English)
