A Milan, la bibliotheque Ambrosienne fut commencée par saint Charles & continuée par Fréderic Borromée son neveu, & par deux Cardinaux de la même famille.[...] Ils envoyerent en Europe, dans de Levant, en Asie, rassembler tous les manuscrits qu'on pourroit acquérir. Il y en a de Coptes, d'Arabes, de Syriaques, de Persans & beaucoup de Grecs & de Latins. (French)
