Statements
One room contains printed books in general; another, manuscripts and very rare editions only. The collection is small, compared to more modern libraries. We were shewn two manuscripts of the Greek version of the Septuagint, of the eighth or ninth century. A commentary on Homer, a very fine manuscript of the ninth or tenth. (English)
