Statements
[...] here is an Academy, called Instituto, for the arts and sciences. It contains an ample library, with the manuscript collections of Marsigli the founder; of Aldrovandi the naturalist, in 187 large folio volumes; of Cospi, of Pope Benedict XIV. & c.; some oriental manuscripts; and a collection of prints and drawings. This library is open to the public every morning except Wednesday. (English)
