Statements
Pope Nicholas V. passes commonly for the Founder of this Library, but it was in effect Sixtus IV.( Lomeyer de Bibliothecis) Cardinal du Perron says, that here are more than twenty Arabic Translations of Greek Authors, whose Originals are lost; particularly Archimedes de Suppositis, Part of Apollonius Pergaus, & c. Here is an Eusebius in Armenian. (English)
