The chief curiosities, which came under our inspection were: A Russian Almanack, minutely painted with figures of all their saints, and varnished. The famous old Virgil of which a fac fimile has been printed. A very ancient manuscript of Terence, besides the less ancient one commonly mentioned; which last is painted with the masks, and even figures, of the characters in each play. (English)
