La bibliotheque des Dominicains est fort nombreuse. Il y a un manuscrit qu'on regarde comme une des choses les plus précieuses, c'est le Pentateuque, que l'on dit être écrit par Esdras lui-même en caracteres Hébraïques sur des peaux de veau, rattachées ensemble, quoiqu'il foit impossible de constater cette antiquité, il passoit déja pour très-ancien il y a plus de quatre ou cinq cens ans.
