Statements
THE little Town of Fiesoli [...] is remarkable now for little more than an Abbey of Regular Canons, of the Lateran Order, which owes its Foundation to Cosmo Father to the great Laurence. The Charge of this Fabrick, and its Endowment, was reckon'd at 100,000 Scudi in those Days, which now would amount to half a Million; and in the Library, there are MSS of no small Value. (English)
