Il y a dans la ville plusieurs autres Bibliotheques remarquables ; la plupart des Maisons de Religieux sont distinguées à cet égard , & il y en a beaucoup chez des particuliers . Celle du Séminaire a été laissée en 1751 par M. Giordano , pour être rendue publique; & le Comte de Carail [...] vient d'en ouvrir une au public , dans un Palais qu'il a fait bâtir depuis peu.
