The Convent of S. Ambrose is large and fine; it has two spacious Courts, and a Gallery of a hundred and sixty five Paces long. The Prior of this Convent is a great Virtuoso; he shew'd us the Library himself, which is finely adorn'd: I believe there are as many Pictures, and other Curiosities as there are Books; tho' these are very numerous too.
