Statements
At the Barberini palace is a famous library, very rich in Greek manuscripts, chiefly theological, or rather ecclesiastical, for they probably have more to do with the church than with God. There are a few old books of natural history, as Fuchsii Icones plantarum, coloured, and the Hortus Eystettensis; we scarcely saw any others worth notice. (English)
